"Missed it by that much". Well, the last few sessions of 2008 treated us pretty well. A few more nice trades for the stat board. I still can’t get over the fact that one of our open trades, CBE came within one penny of T3.

So Target 3 is 29.65 and the high today was 29.64. Talk about a close call. Numbers are numbers though and our trustworthy "Status Bot" that monitors the trades all day refuses to honor any "close calls". The candle is looking a little sketchy for the Friday session so it’s gonna be a nail-biter. Fortunately if one follows the rules this one’s already pretty much in the win column and money has been made. Now the trick is "what to do next" in a case like this.

Hmm, since we have to stick to the plan we will watch it play out but if I was able to make it up as I go I might consider moving the stop up to T2 rather than all the way back down at the entry. Those of you that "sell all at T1" or "1/2 at T1 and 1/2 at T2" are enjoying your New Years Eve without worry, but myself and status Bot will be on the edge of our seats Friday morning. I kind of wish the market was closed Friday. There’s something about a lone trading day sandwiched between a Holiday and a weekend that just seems wrong. I can’t imagine many people will greet Friday with anything other than a yawn.

Enjoy the "eve"ning and be safe.
